Documenting our life in small town Ontario (and beyond).
History
I grew up in rural Eastern Canada, and always craved living in a big city. My partner and I met in Tokyo – the most populous city in the world. When we lived there, we realized how much we wanted to live in a rural area, so that we could be closer to nature, live more slowly, and be more connected to the people around us.
During the pandemic, we both had the opportunity to begin working from home. With that, we decided to take the jump to move to a small village about an hour outside of Ottawa. The intention of this blog is to document some of the things we encounter in our life here.
